Yuga Labs has divested the intellectual property rights of its flagship NFT collection, CryptoPunks, to the Infinite Node Foundation (NODE). The transaction marks another chapter for the iconic digital assets, which originally launched under Larva Labs in 2017.

The Infinite Node Foundation affirmed its commitment to preserving the collection’s legacy via a public announcement on X. Yuga Labs had held the IP since March 2022, when it acquired both CryptoPunks and Meebits NFTs. The collection’s cultural significance in Web3 grew steadily over years before achieving mainstream recognition.
